Design, with an accent

The thoughts, ramblings and photos of a northern designer living down south

Droid #244
The German guns weren’t the problem. There was something else in the mud. Something cold, whirring. Something awakening.
Another collaboration with Daniel Benneworth-Gray. Just a sketch really this time as I’m a bit pushed for time this weekend. I kind of imagine an army of the creepy little bugger pushing there way up through the mud…

Drawn on cheap layout paper with Staedtler Pigment Liners and a Pentel Pocket Brush.

Its cloaking device was malfunctioning in a most unexpected way…

Tonight’s droid sketch is a collaboration with Nick Miners, a great photographer and possibly a future as a sci fi writer.

I have another version of this in my head, so may come back to it another time.

Drawn in pencil in my Moleskine.
